Founded in 1968, Amarillo Montessori Academy's mission is to foster independent, confident, academically prepared, and socially responsible citizens, who will be lifelong learners and problem solvers.
The school located at 3806 S. Bowie currently serves more than 250 students from 6 weeks old through fifth grade. Students can also attend in the summer through the completion of their fifth-grade year.
The academy is a proud sponsor of PBS Kids programming.
"I love the fact that Panhandle PBS offers educational programs and material appropriate for children," said Adrianne Kozar, the academy's executive director. "Amarillo Montessori Academy strives to provide quality education, and I believe Panhandle PBS does the same."
