uBREAKiFIX is breaking into the Amarillo market to fix things.
The first location I’ve confirmed is in the Shops at Soncy, a retail center on South Soncy Road, between Interstate 40 and Southwest 34th Avenue.
uBreakiFix is just what it sounds like, a repair shop. Its focus is any gadget — smartphones, tablets, desktops and gaming consoles.
The repair business will be nestled in the same retail building as Starbucks and T-Mobile, according to Justin Kite, of Coldwell Banker Amarillo’s commercial agency.
At the time I talked with Kite, the company was shopping for a site somewhere around Georgia Street.
The company’s website says it offers bulk discounts, staff and student discounts and free diagnostics and estimates.
