The unique and widely popular travel show “Two for the Road,” which is filmed, written, produced and edited entirely by married adventurers and small-town Texas Panhandle residents Nikki and Dusty Green, returned to the Create TV lineup in late May.

It’s been three years since the Greens last made an appearance on Create, when Two for the Road season two made its run on the channel back in the spring of 2018. And though production is now just beginning on its fifth exciting season, the series will pick up where it left off on Create, with Two for the Road season three. The season features thirteen half-hour episodes highlighting the Greens’ adventures in some of the most spectacular destinations around the world, including Bolivia, Ireland, Iceland, the Galapagos Islands, Puerto Rico and more.

“We are so excited and honored to be back on Create,” said Nikki. ”It’s just awesome. And we feel like we’ve come such a long way since season two. Season three is an amazing season and we’re so very proud of it. There are so many incredible places and heartwarming stories in season three. So to finally get it out there in front of a national TV audience again is just an amazing feeling.”

The show is the realization of a life-changing dream for the Greens, who in 2007 decided to quit their jobs, sell their home and their belongings, and strike out from their lifelong home in the Panhandle to pursue a life of travel and adventure. The inaugural season of Two for the Road first aired nine years later in the fall of 2016 on Panhandle PBS in Amarillo, Texas, which today proudly remains the show’s presenting station – its “home” in the public television system. Two for the Road was nominated for three Lone Star Emmy awards in its initial season, and the show now boasts a total of 40 episodes spotlighting the many incredible adventures, sights, sounds, tastes and cultures the Greens have documented around the world and here at home.

In addition to airing on Create TV, season three of “Two for the Road” will also air on Panhandle PBS beginning Thursday, June 10 at 7 pm.

“Dusty and Nikki’s one-of-a-kind travel show is a Panhandle PBS favorite, and we’re excited for viewers across the country to once again get to explore the world with them,” said Kyle Arrant, Director of Station Operations for Panhandle PBS.

“Two for the Road” will air Tuesdays on Create TV at 9 am, 4 pm and 10 pm. It will air on Panhandle PBS Thursdays at 7 pm beginning June 10. “Two for the Road” season three is presented by Panhandle PBS and underwritten for public television by AIG Travel, Panhandle-based overlanding company American Safari JXL (Red River Rigs), and Ecuador-based tour and cruise company LatinTrails - English.
