PBS to take viewers around the world for another summer of adventure

Chef Marcus Samuelsson will host "No Passport Required"

This summer, the adventure continues as PBS presents a lineup of programs that take viewers to some of the most remarkable destinations in the U.S. and abroad.

PBS Summer of Adventure 2018 will include the premieres of several exciting new shows exploring food culture, travel and history.

Watch for these new series:

  • No Passport Required: Join internationally renowned chef Marcus Samuelsson as he celebrates America’s cultural and culinary diversity. In this new six-part series in partnership with Eater, Samuelsson invites viewers along as he visits under-explored parts of American cities to showcase the people, places and unique flavors of immigrant communities. It’ll air at 9 p.m. Tuesdays from July 10 to Aug. 14.
  • Kingdoms of the Sky: In a landmark three-part series made in conjunction with the BBC, these programs reveal the extraordinary wildlife and remarkable people who live and thrive among the peaks of three of the most iconic mountain ranges of the world: the Rockies, Andes and the Himalayas. It’ll air at 8 p.m. Wednesdays on July 11, 18 and 25.
  • 10 That Changed America: Host Geoffrey Baer takes viewers across the country to the legendary streets, monuments and modern marvels that changed America. It’ll air at 7 p.m. Tuesdays on July 10, 17 and 24.

Keep watching in August for the premieres of The Outback, which explores the remote Australian wilderness, and Wonders of Mexico, which journeys deep into the depths of Mexico’s tropical rainforests.
