A variety of exclusive programming, including an “All Creatures Great and Small” marathon, will entertain audiences during our June membership drive from June 3 – 5.
Among featured programs:
- A marathon of “All Creatures Great and Small” season three. Season three begins in the Spring of 1939 as James and Helen prepare to walk down the aisle. Additionally, James is trying to expand the veterinary practice by joining a government program to test for tuberculosis in cattle. Watch it all unfold in a seven-episode marathon starting at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 3.
- In “Roy Orbison & Friends: A Black and White Night,” celebrate the music legend in an iconic 1987 concert recorded live at the Cocoanut Grove in Los Angeles. Featuring an all-star cast including Jackson Browne, T Bone Burnett, Elvis Costello, k.d. Lang, Bonnie Raitt, J.D. Souther, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits and Jennifer Warnes. It will air at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 4.
- Filmed over the course of six years at some of nature’s most spectacular locales, “Ken Burns’ The National Parks” tells the story of people from every conceivable background – rich and poor, soldiers and scientists, natives and newcomers – who were willing to devote themselves to saving some precious portion of the land they loved. It will air at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5.
