For seven years, Amarillo College has hosted an annual outreach event to encourage Texas Panhandle-area women and high school girls to consider technical fields.
Recently, more than 30 women spent a day at AC's East Campus and got hands-on experience with automotive, aviation, firefighting, machining, welding and other industrial technology:
