Honey Soy Glazed Brussel Sprouts | Sam Blackburn
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs. brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half or quartered (depending on size)
- 2 Tbsp white truffle & grapeseed oil blend (1:4 ratio)
- 1 Tbsp Bacon Salt (from SALT)
- 2 tsp Aleppo Pepper (from SALT)
- ½ tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 2 Tbsp white truffle & grapeseed oil blend
- 1 cup cashews
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Directions
- In large bowl, toss brussels, first listed oil, bacon salt, Aleppo pepper, and fresh cracked pepper together to combine.
- In a large saute pan over medium high heat, add 2nd listed oil and heat to almost smoking
- Do your best to cook brussels cut side down for 4-5 minutes, then give the pan a toss so that they don’t burn.
- Add cashews and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add honey and soy sauce, toss to combine and cook for another 1-2 minutes. By this time the brussels should be getting pretty tender.
- Remove from pan, allow to cool slightly and enjoy!
