For the next Yellow City Sounds Live concert, we’re staying close to home.

Mike Fuller, program director for KACV FM90, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday in the Panhandle PBS studio, 2408 S. Jackson St.

The New York-born, New Mexico-raised Fuller has been playing the guitar for over 40 years, and writing songs for 30.  He grew up listening to Jackson Browne, Cat Stevens, Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor and the Beatles.

He has released 3 CDs — Babies in 1998, Barefoot Music in 2001 and Live and More in 2014.  He also released a CD as part of a trio with Ronnie Fleming and Gary Thomason called Plainspoken in 2003.

The concert — a joint production of Panhandle PBS and FM90 — is free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Seating is limited, but the concert will be streamed live at panhandlePBS.org, on FM90 and on kacvfm.org, then used for an upcoming episode of Live Here.
