The West Texas A&M University Choirs and Symphony Orchestra and the Randall High School Chorale are coming together to celebrate the holiday season with “Music of the Christmas Season 2022.” They will perform an array of classical and traditional works, with music by Randol Bass, Jenkins, W.A. Mozart, J.S. Bach and more.
Additionally, soloist Sarah Beckham-Turner, WT’s assistant professor of voice and director of opera, will be featured on Laudate Dominum and Gabriel’s Message.
Dr. Mark Bartley, director of orchestral activities, the Lilith Brainard Professor of Music and associate director of the School of Music; Dr. Sean Pullen, associate professor of music and director of choral activities; and Kelli Harter, Randall High School choir teacher, will serve as conductors for the program.
“Music of the Christmas Season 2022” will be recorded on Sunday, December 4, 2022, in the Mary Moody Northern Recital Hall at West Texas A&M University. The program will air at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 22 and 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 25 on Panhandle PBS.
