This June, meet the charismatic Detective Inspector Alex Ridley. He retired after a distinguished 20-year career and handed the reigns over to his protégée DI Carol Farman. However, when Farman turns to Ridley for help on a complex murder investigation, their partnership is revived.
In the series opener, a local farmer is found dead and Farman calls in Ridley to assist on a missing persons case that remains unsolved after 13 years. Ridley had always suspected flaws with the initial investigation, and after diving deeper into the case and finding another body, shocking secrets are uncovered.
As Ridley and Farman investigate, the case gets trickier and trickier. Double lives, another missing person, more deaths, dark secrets and links between cases create a tangled web for the detectives to unravel.
“Ridley” will premiere at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 18 on Panhandle PBS. The series will also be available to stream on all station-branded PBS platforms, including PBS.org and the PBS App.
