Join Panhandle PBS for an afternoon of fun in the sun at Summer Splash from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday, June 12 on the north side of Memorial Park, adjacent to Panhandle PBS.
Guests will enjoy a multitude of family-friendly activities, including storytime, flavor ice popsicles, a scavenger hunt, and even a visit from Carl the Collector!
Panhandle PBS is thrilled to announce that Carl from the new PBS KIDS series “Carl the Collector” will be in attendance at Summer Splash. “Carl the Collector” follows the everyday adventures of Carl, a warm-hearted autistic raccoon who enjoys collecting things and loves his friends and family in Fuzzytown. In each episode, Carl and his friends work and play together. In the process, they find out what makes each of them who they are. You can watch “Carl the Collector” at 7:30 a.m. daily on Panhandle PBS, or 8, 8:30 and 10 a.m. on the Panhandle PBS KIDS 24/7 channel. Episodes are also available anytime on PBSKIDS.org.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information about Summer Splash, call our office at (806)371-5479.
