Check out exclusive programming during our March Membership Drive

A variety of exclusive programming, including a star-studded musical lineup and more, will entertain audiences during our March membership drive from March 4 – 6.

Among featured programs:

  • In "Aging Backwards 4: The Miracle of Flexibility," explore gentle flexibility and range of motion exercises that can improve posture and help reverse the signs of aging, improve organ health and increase energy. It will air at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 4.
  • "Dolly Parton & Friends: 50 Years at the Opry" captures Dolly Parton delivering some of her biggest hits on one of the most iconic stages in the world. Featuring new interviews with some of her superstar friends, including Dierks Bentley, Emmy-lou Harris, Chris Janson, and more. It will air at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.
  • Two-time Grammy-winning country music superstar Reba McEntire shines in “Reba McEntire: My Chains are Gone: Hymns and Gospel” at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, singing selections from her debut gospel album. It will air at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4.
  • Fresh off their 18-month 50th Anniversary Tour, the iconic and profoundly influential Nitty Gritty Dirt Band – often cited as a catalyst for an entire movement in Country Rock and American Roots Music – continues to add to their legendary status. “Nitty Gritty Dirt Band: The Hits, The History and Dirt Does Dylan,” will air at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 4.
  • Discover the enduring friendship between Emmy Award-winning television personality Dick Cavett and iconic comedian Groucho Marx. “American Masters: Groucho & Cavett” chronicles the pair’s relationship through new interviews with Cavett, footage from Marx’s visit to “The Dick Cavett Show” and other rare recordings. It will air at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 5. 
  • Beginning with one man’s dream, and culminating with the largest number of performers assembled on the stage of the Globe News Center, “From the Heart: Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in the Texas Panhandle” captures the lead up to the performance. The program goes behind the scenes as an alliance of arts organizations join voices for this monumental undertaking… five years in the making. It will air at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.
  • 173 musicians take the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts stage to perform “Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis in the Texas Panhandle.” It will air at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.
  • Relive the magical moments of Celine Dion’s record-breaking, sold-out 2008-09 tour in “Celine Dion: Taking Chances World Tour.” With her first Las Vegas residency barely over, Celine embarked on a new global conquest. Her tour opened on February 14, 2008 in South Africa, then rolled through Asia, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the U.S. It will air at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 5.
  • If the world is a stage, then Elvis Presley was its finest performer; his sound and style personified an era. The ultimate “rise and fall” megastar, he defined the heights and pitfalls of modern super-celebrity. By dividing his life into seven distinct phases, “The Seven Ages of Elvis'' marries his achievements to his times and their historical context. It will air at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6.
  • Throughout the 1950s, Elvis Presley led the rock and roll revolution in music and pop culture. By the 1960s, he concentrated mainly on his successful movie career. By 1968, it had been more than seven years since he had appeared on stage in front of a live audience. In June of 1968, Elvis taped his first television special in Burbank, California, saving his career and showcasing some of the best music of his life. “Elvis Presley: ‘68 Comeback Special” will air at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6.
