Tascosa HS administrator honored for statewide award

Drew Daniel, the assistant principal at Tascosa High School, was one of several administrators recognized for statewide honors during this week's Texas Association of School Administrators' midwinter conference in Austin.

Daniel was chosen as assistant principal of the year for the 2016-2017 school year by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals. He and other statewide award winners were recognized during the conference.

Daniel has a master's degree in administration and has been an assistant principal for 11 years, according to Amarillo ISD information.

He has been assistant principal at Tascosa High for six years.
