Panhandle PBS is presenting special educational programming designed to supplement online learning now taking place in our area schools due to COVID-19.

Summer learning continues on Panhandle PBS with on air and online resources for all Texas Panhandle children and families. Many Texas Panhandle schools are closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, causing thousands of students to be without access to educational instruction.

To help combat this, Panhandle PBS is presenting special educational programming designed to supplement online learning, with a goal of providing families with quality educational content who may not have access to reliable Internet services. This new schedule will take effect Monday, April 27, and will continue weekdays from 10:00 a.m. 12:00 noon. At Home Learning resources and programming from Panhandle PBS will continue through the summer.

It is a part of public media’s mission to ensure that all kids, regardless of their circumstances, have access to free educational resources at home. Panhandle PBS, in partnership with Texas PBS, Texas Education Agency (TEA), Amarillo ISD and Region 16 Education Service Center are proud to offer broadcast programming and accompanying digital resources to provide continued at-home learning.
