There's nothing like a construction fence for causing a flurry of questions.

As soon as the fence went up around the vacant Furr's endcap space at The Shops at Wolflin Square, people became incredibly curious.

The bad news is, there's little to say yet about a future tenant. But the flipside is the interior demolition going on now will make it more presentable and ready for a new retailer, according to Wolflin Square Asset Manager Austin Sharp.

But Sharp said lease negotiations are heating up with an unnamed retailer. So stay tuned.

Meanwhile, let the cleanup continue.

"The space is pretty rough," Sharp said. "So whether it's the lease we are negotiating or another lease, this needs to be done.
