Learn gravity and what it takes to make a structure stand with Giant Jenga.

Learn the science of compression with Giant Kerplunk. There are Giant Soccer Billiards to teach Newton's Laws of Motion and a Giant Lite Brite to teach graphics, light and color.

Don Harrington Discovery Center is going "giant" with its summer exhibit, Physics @ Play, which opens this Saturday (May 20). The exhibit uses large versions of popular kids' games to let youngsters explore physical principles.

Also beginning May 20 is the Cubelets Robot Blocks exhibit, sponsored by Pantex, which allows children to assemble magnetic blocks into robots.

The exhibits last through mid-September. DHDC's summer hours – 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday – will resume May 29.

Contact Shanna Collins, the DHDC's development and marketing coordinator, for more information on exhibits, hours and museum memberships.
