A story of storytellers, "Unmodified" illustrates the importance of storytelling in a community using tabletop and miniature gaming as a vehicle for people to explore their own creativity. Through the use of Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder and other roleplaying games, players create characters to then collaborate in telling grand adventures. Wargamers create massive forces to use in narrative campaigns to either boon or bust from the outcome of each battle in games like Warhammer, Infinity and One Page Rules. All the while painters are given an outlet for creation in the customization of the involved miniatures. Explore the world of these brilliant minds of the Texas Panhandle have to offer and the feats of community they have accomplished.

Siege in Studio 1

Saturday, August 9 – 7:30 a.m.

Panhandle PBS, 2408 S. Jackson, Amarillo, TX 

Join Panhandle PBS in celebration of community as we attempt to host the largest single game of Warhammer 40,000 ever held in the Texas Panhandle. This is an all-ages event. Players will be split into two teams, splitting the total points of the armies in attendance as evenly as possible. Check-in times will be in 30-minute blocks starting at 7:30 a.m., with the game starting around 9:00 a.m.

Painting Competition: Participants may submit a single painted model to be judged by Panhandle PBS staff, who will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 

This event will be filmed with the intent to use for the Panhandle PBS documentary "Unmodified."

Rules:

• There will be no point limit per army, bring your largest force!
• We will be using 10th edition core rules, however wound allocation for battle round 1 will be done Apocalypse style.
• As this is an all-ages event, players will be held to the highest standards of sportsmanlike conduct.
• Players will report the point total of their army upon arrival, or when preregistering at the link above. Players will then be assigned to a team.
• The game will go until either one or both teams are obliterated, or time runs out. Should time run out, victory will be awarded to the team to destroy the highest number of points.
