The Gettysburg Address is perhaps the most well-known speech in American history. The speech was delivered by Abraham Lincoln on Thursday, November 19, 1863 at the dedication of the Soldiers' National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. In a effort to raise awareness of the 150th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address , Panhandle PBS is recording Texas Panhandle residents reading the address.
