A special trivia night is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 16.

Test your knowledge of America's favorite books!

Teams will compete beginning at 7 p.m. Oct. 16 at Metropolitan, 9181 Town Square Blvd., Suite 1201.

Build a team of up to four fellow book-lovers and compete for bragging rights and prizes. Literary-themed small bites and cocktails are available for purchase from a special Metropolitan menu.

Entry is free! To RSVP, send a message to Metropolitan or call 806-242-0117. (Maximum 12 teams.)

The competition will include three rounds of 10 questions each, plus a bonus round of five questions. All questions will be inspired by the 100 books chosen nationwide for PBS's Great American Read, which range from “Don Quixote” and “War and Peace” to “The Hunger Games” and “Harry Potter.” There’s a book for everyone on the list!

Prizes will include Barnes & Noble gift cards, Metropolitan gift cards and “Great American Read”-themed mugs, tumblers and other memorabilia.
