Lone Star Ballet will feature a beauty AND a beast in its 2018-19 season.
As artistic director Vicki McLean explains in the above video, the dance company's season will open with an original production of Frankenstein on Oct. 26 and 27 and close with a remounting of Sleeping Beauty on April 12 and 13.
Between those are the annual holiday production of The Nutcracker from Dec. 7 to 9 and a visit from Envy Dance Company, whose leader Brandon J is a frequent LSB collaborator, on Feb. 16.
"I think we're going to have a lovely season," McLean said. "It's going to be great fun."
