Tickets are on sale at noon Friday for the return of the Harlem Globetrotters.

The Guinnnes World Records-holding team will bring its 2017 world tour to town for a 7 p.m. Oct. 19 performance in the Amarillo Civic Center Complex Coliseum, 401 S. Buchanan St.

Tickets are $23.50 to $48.50 or $13.50 for children (in designated areas), plus fees. They can be purchased at HarlemGlobetrotters.com, PanhandleTickets.com, by phone at 806-378-3096 or at the Civic Center box office.

The team last appeared in Amarillo in December. In the past year, the team has set nine Guinness records in a day and set the mark for the highest basketball shot ever recorded in North America from the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio.

Games showcase incredible ball handling, dunks, trick shots, comedy and fan interaction, including autographs and photos following the game.
