"The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur" will premiere in January.

Arthur’s Great-Grand Uncle Theo is celebrating his 85th birthday, so the Reads (and Buster) are off to Ohio to join in the festivities.

In The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur, D.W. and Arthur learn that farm life is a little different than life in Elwood City, and Buster worries he may be getting in the way at this family reunion. With the help of Cousin Miles, some llamas, and a little bit of music, they all discover what it truly means to be family.

The new special will premiere at 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 20, then encore at 6 a.m. Jan. 21, 3 p.m. Jan. 22 and 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Jan. 23 on Panhandle PBS.

It will premiere at 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20 on PBS Kids, then air at 7:30 a.m. Jan. 21, 3 and 11 p.m. Jan. 22, 9:30 a.m. Jan. 23 and 6 and 8 p.m. Jan. 24, 25 and 26.

Also coming to PBS Kids in January are new episodes of Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Sesame Street.
