November’s Savor the Goods dinner will be a haute time.

Chef Tanner Burnam of Northwest Texas Healthcare System / Sodexo will be featured. He will craft a menu inspired by French cuisine:

  • Course 1: Bacon and brie macaroon with cured egg
  • Course 2: French onion soup
  • Course 3: Braised beef short ribs with red wine demi-glace, white bean cassoulet and roasted root vegetables
  • Course 4: Tart bourdaloue (pear tart)

The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Amarillo Botanical Gardens, 1400 Streit Drive.

Tickets are $75.

Call 806-371-5479 to reserve a table of 8 for $500 (a savings of $100!), or click here.

Support for this dinner series is provided by Affiliated Food Service, Amarillo Classic Events, FirstBank Southwest and Reed Beverage, Inc.

Over the course of six “Savor the Goods” events in 2018 and four in 2019, Panhandle PBS has attracted about 1,000 attendees and brought growth in membership.

The Savor the Goods series received the prestigious 2019 PBS Development Award for Membership in a national conference in July.

The Membership Award recognizes successful programs or specific techniques and practices among PBS member stations that lead to increases of net revenue and/or membership.
