Ross fights heartache at home and tragedy in Cornwall as Poldark returns for a fourth season.

The beloved Masterpiece series will return at 8 p.m. Sept. 30, airing weekly through Nov. 18.

In the series, it’s now 1796, and to defend Cornwall and those he loves from an empowered George (Jack Farthing), Ross (Aidan Turner) must play the political game on a journey that takes him to the nation's capital and into new perils.

Meanwhile, he must also try to get his relationship with Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) back on track, though she’s also drawn to the lovestruck Hugh (Josh Armitage).

News broke earlier in September that the upcoming fifth season of Poldark will be its final season.
