Viewers can celebrate Christmas with special airings of two beloved programs.

Up first is a two-part Last Tango in Halifax holiday special.

As we catch up with childhood sweethearts Alan and Celia and their late-in-life reunion, the duo is dealing with all sorts of family issues — Caroline has moved and found a new job, while Gillian struggles to reconcile her past problems with her current relationship with Robbie.

The episodes air at 7 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 24.

Then, return to midcentury Poplar on the Call the Midwife holiday special.

The town is under a thick blanket of snow during the region’s coldest winter in 300 years. Battling snow, ice, power cuts and frozen pipes, the midwives strive to provide care for their patients.

The special premieres at 8 p.m. Dec. 25.
