The centerpiece of PBS’s November pledge period will be the broadcast premiere of an award-winning documentary about The Beatles at the height of fans’ mania.

The Beatles: Eight Days a Week — The Touring Years, a film by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Ron Howard, will premiere at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, followed by an encore of Sgt. Pepper’s Musical Revolution at 9:30 p.m.
Eight Days a Week will encore at 4 p.m. Nov. 26 and 10 p.m. Dec. 3 as part of November pledge period.
Howard’s film is based on the first part of The Beatles’ career (1962-1966) – the period in which they toured and captured the world’s acclaim. The film explores how John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr came together to become this extraordinary phenomenon, “The Beatles.”
Eight Days a Week features rare and never-before-seen archival footage of shows and interviews, plus new interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and numerous prominent observers.

- Carole King & James Taylor: Live at the Troubadour at 5 p.m. Nov. 25 and midnight Nov. 28
- The ‘80s (My Music) at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 26 and 11:30 pm. Dec. 1
- Celtic Woman — Homecoming: Ireland at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 26 and midnight Nov. 29
- Victor Borge: 100 Years of Music & Laughter! at 7 p.m. Nov. 27 and 4 p.m. Dec. 2, among others
Other highlights will include:
- Victoria Returns, a preview of the second season of the Masterpiece series, at 7 p.m. Nov. 26
- Ken Burns: America’s Storyteller at 7 p.m. Nov. 28 and midnight Dec. 1
