After breakfast, church and gifts this Father's Day, you can treat dad to a day at the Amarillo Zoo.
The zoo will offer free admission to fathers on June 18. Fathers also can get a free snow cone from the zoo's concession stand.
The zoo's Father's Day hours are between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Also, the zoo continues to reward students' hard work during the school year with free admission for those who received two or more A's – or the highest grades their schools award – on their final report cards. It's the zoo's "Way to Succeed!" program, which runs through June 30. To qualify, students must show their original report cards.
