The last of the Amarillo Independent School District's sessions on social media awareness for parents have been scheduled.

AISD has conducted the forums throughout April to provide parents with tips to keep their children safe on social media. During the sessions, the district's technology personnel will discuss how students use technology devices and how parents can reinforce those lessons at home and monitor their children's use.

The forums last 30 to 45 minutes with 15-minute question-and-answer periods, according to AISD:

•     Thursday, April 12: Bowie Middle School auditorium, 2901 Tee Anchor Blvd., 6 p.m.
•     Thursday, April 26: Rod Schroder Education Support Center board room, 7200 Interstate 40 West, 6 p.m.
