Panhandle PBS to broadcast Republican Primary debate on January 27
Four Republicans vying to represent their party in the race for the second-highest executive office in Texas government will square off in a one-hour debate that will be televised live at 8 p.m. Monday, January 27 on Panhandle PBS. The program, The Texas Debates: Race for Lieutenant Governor, will feature Lt. Governor David Dewhurst, State Sen. Dan Patrick, Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson and Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples—and voters’ voices will be heard. Questions that may be posed to the candidates during the debate can be submitted on Twitter: @keranews using the hashtag #texasdebates. The 2014 primary election in Texas is March 4.
