TEXAS GARDENING SHOW PREMIERES SATURDAY, APRIL 5 ON PANHANDLE PBS
Panhandle PBS viewers who have been looking for a gardening show that focuses on Texas soil are in for a treat. Central Texas Gardener, which premieres Saturday, April 5 at 11:30 a.m., showcases exquisite Central Texas gardens and teaches how to have your own beautiful garden. Guests include growers, designers, nursery owners and authors. Visits to local gardens share homegrown stories and philosophies. Every Saturday on this weekly series, host Tom Spencer will visit with experts who cover a lot of ground from plant selection to design. Producer Linda Lehmusvirta consults garden experts from around the state to get viewers the most up-to-date information on gardening in Central Texas. Location footage captures inspiring ideas created by weekend gardeners on a budget, as well as techniques suggested by professional designers and landscape architects.
